Apostate Cigars Apostate No. 5 The Sword of Leban

An elegant feeling Churchill size and shape that was covered with an oily, reddish brown, hardy wrapper. There were mild, slightly sweet notes on the pre-light nose with a lot of floral and cedar tones on the cold draw flavor.
The cigar immediately provided a very pleasant aroma with traits similar to the pre-light characteristics. As the cigar was enjoyed, notes of raisin, black and red peppery spices developed. The spicy traits lingered in the taste as well as in the nose when retro haling the smoke, becoming a dominant characteristic.
The smoke was full bodied with a full strength profile that lingered in the throat and palate. The flavors developed throughout the duration of the cigar, becoming more earthy while maintaining some of the earlier traits.
Nice construction with an even burn that hung on to a long, nearly white ash. Overall the cigar provided nice flavors and aroma with a lot of spice and strength.
