Apostate Cigars Apostate No. 6 The Zarahemla Toro

A deep, reddish-brown wrapper covered this extremely box pressed toro shaped cigar. The pre-light nose was mild with a slight sweet note that carried over to the cold-draw flavor. The smoke was dense with a creamy texture.
Black pepper notes were noted in the taste as well as in the nose when retro haling, which had additional spicy white pepper. There was a mild sweet note with cedar in the aroma and flavor with a mostly spicy character.
It was spicy – but smooth and balanced well with the full body. Medium strength and fairly straightforward beginning to end. A pleasant spicy cigar that won’t overwhelm the palate. Easy to enjoy with a great burn and overall construction.
