Asylum Cigars Asylum 13

Asylum Cigars Asylum 13

This cigar had a classic look and feel with a light, slightly reddish brown wrapper. There was a bright pre-light nose filled with earthy cedar and floral notes. The cigar was light in the hand and had an open draw with barely any resistance. Once lit, the cigar provided large volumes of spicy, creamy textured smoke with ease. The aroma was full and rich with sweet and spicy cedar notes, which also carried over to the taste. There was a mild body, which picked up to a mild-medium overall and balanced well with the flavorful character of the cigar. The creaminess was a consistent trait as were the smooth, peppery spices. Nutty, graham cracker-like notes developed as the cigar was smoked and added another dimension to the spicy creaminess of the experience. The burn was slow and extremely even, producing a dense, very long ash that didn’t want to fall off of the cigar. A great choice for someone who loves a lot of spice but not necessarily the same kick in body strength.
