Asylum Signature Series by Tom Lazuka Robusto

A dark brown, rugged wrapper covered this cigar. The pre-light nose was faint, with traces of mild cocoa and earthy hay. The cold-draw flavor had a slight tangy-sweet tone with with raisin and traces of cedar.
Once lit, the cigar immediately provided a dense, full body with a creamy texture on the palate. There was just a slight bit of spice through the finish in the taste, but plenty of black pepper notes in the nose on the retro hale. The spice picked up as the cigar was enjoyed, but balanced well with the hardy, full flavors and body.
The flavor and aroma had mostly earthy notes with a small trace of vanilla-like tones that came through in the taste and aorma. Great construction with a smooth draw and an even burn.
While not overly complex, this was a smooth smoking medium-full strength cigar that delivered a well rounded, flavorful experience. Satisfying from beginning to end and incredibly easy to enjoy.
