Bauza
This was an attractive looking cigar with a great size and shape. The wrapper was an even brown color and had some noticeable oils. The pre-light smell was light with a slight sweet edge that carried over to the pre-light taste. It produced a long and tight, nearly white ash. The smoke had a dominating creamy texture on the palate with a slight spiciness on the back end of each puff. There was a lot of white and black pepper notes when retro-haling the smoke through the nose. It was a mild bodied cigar and other than the pepper notes through the nose, was very mild with easy going linear flavors. It had sweet tobacco notes in the taste and aroma, which was very pleasant. The burn and construction were outstanding. This cigar wasn’t very full bodied when new, and considering the age, it held up pretty well. It was balanced on the palate and smoked without a hitch. A very pleasant, easy going cigar that anyone could enjoy.
