Black Label Trading Co. Coffin Nails

A uniquely sized torpedo/petit corona type of of shape that was wrapped in a rugged, deep brown, oily and toothy wrapper. The pre-;light nose was fairly mild with a slightly sweet tone. The cold draw flavor had a rich earthy tone with cocoa, hay and fig/raisin notes. Once lit the cigar wasted no time providing full rich flavors and a lot of peppery spices, especially when retro haling the smoke through the nose.
The aroma was deep with more notes of cocoa, black/white pepper spice and a slightly sweet earthy tone. The spices didn’t take long to carry over in to the taste, lingering on the palate after each puff. The smoke was full bodied with a dense texture. What started out as mild strength, quickly developed to full – but balanced well with the full spicy flavors that the cigar offered.
Outstanding construction and draw, especially for a cigar this shape and size. It had a great burn that produced a long, nearly white ash. A big experience in a little package, this would be an excellent choice for those who enjoy full bodied, full strength, spice forward cigars with a big earthy aroma and flavor tones.
