Bombay Tobak MBombay Vintage Reserve

Bombay Tobak MBombay Vintage Reserve

This was an attractive, extra long lancero with exposed binder at the foot, and a small pigtail cap. Slightly sweet cedar and some floral notes on the pre-light smell. The cigar had an incredibly smooth draw with little resistance. Upon lighting, the initial aroma was easygoing with a nutty characteristic. Once the burn reached the wrapper tobacco, more nuances of floral-like spices were detected in the aroma of the smoke and in the taste, which remained consistent throughout the duration of the cigar. A white peppery spice became present and intensified, especially through the nose. Mild to medium body overall with a solid medium bodied finish that had a big flavor profile. Some complexity as the cigar changed and developed, but it never overwhelmed the palate. It was intriguing enough for the seasoned cigar lover yet easy going enough for anyone new or looking for something unique. More of the nuttiness from the pre-light developed in the taste with graham cracker and toast notes. Not a typical cigar shape, but this smoked great with an even and slow burn. Overall this was a very enjoyable cigar with pleasant flavors, some complexity and balance. We would definitely recommend this cigar to anyone who enjoys a smaller ring gauge cigar that has a lot of flavor and a good amount of time to sit back and enjoy it.
