This box pressed toro shaped cigar had an oily sheen and rustic appearance.  The pre-light nose had a slightly sweet note of cedar and dried fruit, which was even more noticeable on the cold-draw flavor.  Once lit, the cigar provided a big cedar note in the aroma and flavor, which had a bit of sweetness.

There were lingering black pepper notes in the nose on the retro hale with a creamy, full bodied mouth feel.  The aroma maintained a slightly sweet tone and it’s original cedar note, developing mild spice traits.

Mild strength in the beginning built to a solid medium.  Nice construction overall with an easy draw and a mostly even burn.  The cigar provided a pleasant aroma and experience.  Straightforward without much development, it was easy to enjoy and easy on the palate.
