Crowned Heads Mil Días Sublime

This cigar was smooth to the touch with an oily, milk chocolate colored wrapper.  The pre-light nose was light, yet had notes of slightly sweet, earthy, hay-like notes that were also noted on the cold draw flavor.  Once lit, the cigar immediately provided full, rich flavors and a luring aroma.  There were notes of cedar, light cocoa, and rich fermented tobacco.

The smoke had a dense, creamy texture with mild spice that lingered on the back end of each puff, with some white pepper spice when retro-haling the smoke through the nose.  The spices did intensify as the cigar was smoked but never overwhelmed the palate or other characteristics of the cigar.  A decent burn hung on to a long and tight, light gray ash.

This was an easy going cigar that was effortless to enjoy.  Medium strength overall and still approachable by those who like more milder strength cigars and packed with enough flavor that will keep the interest of those who enjoy fuller strength cigars.
