Crowned Heads: The Return of Wabash Cannonball

Crowned Heads is excited to announce the return of Wabash Cannonball,’ a cigar that originated back in 2020 as a store-exclusive release for Casa de Montecristo in Nashville, TN.

The original Crowned Heads “Wabash Cannonball’ was released in September of 2020 as an homage to a Nashville of a bygone era. The Wabash Cannonball was a steel rollercoaster at the now-defunct Opryland USA theme park in Nashville (1975-1997), named after an American folk song about a mythical steam locomotive.

Crowned Heads Wabash CannonballThe original version of the cigar was a 5 1/2 x 48 “Super Corona” vitola, and was originally only available at Casa de Montecristo in Nashville, TN. Production was limited to 5,000 total cigars.

“I enjoyed working on the original Wabash’ four years ago, as I was able to go back in time to a simpler Nashville,” commented Crowned Heads co-fouder, Jon Huber.

“When I heard that Casa de Montecristo wanted to bring back Wabash, I was elated and set out to build a bigger-better-bolder’ version of the original release.”

Sherri Sieminski, CEO Casa de Montecriso, added, “We are thrilled to partner with Crowned Heads on the latest addition to our Casa de Montecristo portfolio of exclusive cigars. The original Wabash Cannonball was so special to us, and we are excited that all our valued guests will have the chance to experience this version of such an amazing cigar.”
