Cubariqueno Cigar Co. Protocol Probable Cause

Cubariqueno Cigar Co. Protocol Probable Cause

An attractive presentation with a square box-pressed shape and a thick, toothy wrapper. It was dark with consistent coloration. The cigar was firm to the touch and had a very smooth draw with just a slight resistance. It had a full, earthy pre-light nose and taste with a lot of cocoa-like tones.  There was black pepper initially in the taste and especially through the nose. A creamier texture developed as the cigar was smoked and the spices settled down slightly in the taste while remaining full and present in the nose and aroma.  There was a nice even burn with a long, solid ash. Overall the cigar had great construction. Smoked with ease and was a smooth experience.  It continued to gain body strength finishing medium to full with long lasting flavor. Some sweet notes developed in the taste and aroma. This was a spicy yet easygoing cigar that had a lot of character. Very enjoyable, especially for those who enjoy spicy cigars but not full-blown body strength with it.
