Davidoff Maduro Short Corona
A beautiful looking small cigar that had a dark and seamless wrapper. The pre-light was unique with a bold nose that had rich dark chocolate, earthy tones with floral notes on the taste. It was extremely firm between the fingers and had a smooth draw just a bit of resistance. Once lit there was a cedar like note in the aroma with intense white pepper spices in the nose. It had an underlying sweetness that was noticeable right away and remained a consistent trait for the duration of the cigar. It delivered generous amounts of full-bodied smoke to the palate with ease. Fairly early on the cigar had noticeable strength leaning more on the medium-full side with a fuller finish that left a lasting impression. The aroma was full with a sweet tone, more spice, floral and cedar notes. The cedar was also noticed in the taste with black and white pepper lingered on the palate. A lot of strength for a little cigar. It also had a unique, full flavor profile and the body to match. The burn was slow and even with great construction overall. An interesting cigar that had classic Davidoff flavors only with big spicy, earthy traits and a lot more strength.
