This cigar had a hardy appearance with it’s super dark and oily wrapper.  It had a tangy-sweet pre-light nose.  The cold-draw flavor had a slightly sweet and earthy tone.  Once lit, the cigar immediately had a rich, full-flavor profile and aroma with a subtle sweetness, white pepper, mild cocoa and earthy-hay notes.  The smoke was full bodied, dense and well balanced with the spicy full flavors.

The spices were definitely present, but not overwhelming in the taste, however, a more intense white-pepper note was there when retro haling the smoke.  It had full strength, but not so much where it will knock you back in your seat – rather it complimented the other characteristics that the cigar had to offer.

The aroma had a consistent rich and luring quality.  This cigar smoked extremely well with a slow, even burn and outstanding construction.  An extremely well-made cigar that engaged all the senses.  A must try for anyone who enjoys full, rich cigars.
