Quesada Don Manolo 79 Toro

Quesada Don Manolo 79 Toro

A slightly reddish-brown wrapper that was smooth to the touch covered this cigar.  The pre-light nose was bright with floral and mild cedar tones which carried over and were more pronounced on the cold-draw flavor.

Once lit, it had a big white peppery spice in the nose with a lighter body.  The aroma had a mix of the same pre-light notes, floral tones and wood with the additional of mild cocoa powder and nuts.  The body gradually built to medium and the smoke developed a mouthwatering texture.

The spices settled some in the retro hale and slowly made lingering presence in the taste.  The aroma became more bold as the cigar was enjoyed with spices, wood, nuts, floral tones and slightly sweet fermented tobacco notes.

The burn was slow, even and produced a long, light gray ash.  Overall great construction – the cigar was effortless to enjoy.  This was a unique, medium strength cigar with a spicy nature that was full of flavor and an intriguing aroma.
