This shorter robusto shaped cigar had a classic look that was attractive to the eye.  It was covered with a lighter brown, slightly oily wrapper that was smooth to the touch.  The pre light nose was extremely appealing and had full, sweeter notes consisting of earthy hay qualities.  The cigar felt great in the hand, well packed, solid to the touch and had no soft spots.  Once lit there was an initial, intense red and white peppery spice in the taste and nose when retro haling the smoke.  The spice tapered off some not long after lighting in the taste but remained its intense trait through the nose.  There were lighter floral notes, wood and toast-like flavors with a slight sweetness that was consistent throughout the duration of the cigar, especially in the aroma.  Mild strength in the beginning that quickly developed into full near the second half of the cigar.  It had a medium-full body with full sweet spicy flavors and a very pleasant aroma.  The cigar had an easy draw, great burn with a long darker grey ash and never required any touchups.  An excellent choice for anyone who appreciates strong, spicy cigars.
