Drew Estate Cigar Co. Liga Privada Corona Doble

Drew Estate Cigar Co. Liga Privada Corona Doble

This was a hardy looking cigar that had a dark and oily wrapper with noticeable tooth and a sweet, earthy pre-light smell and taste. The cigar was extremely solid to the touch yet the draw was smooth and effortless with a slight resistance. Once lit, the smoke had a full flavored profile from the first puff to the last. Dried earthy fruit tones dominated the taste with a subtle spiciness that developed as the cigar was smoked, especially through the nose. It produced a lot of smoke from the foot and filled the room with a deep, spicy, earthy character. A sweet backbone and taste was consistent throughout the duration of the cigar. A medium body picked up momentum and finished full, matched with full flavors and a hardy aroma. The burn was slow and mostly even, yet effortless to enjoy with no touch ups. The ash was long and nearly white in color. Spices balanced well with the sweetness of the smoke. This is a full, rich cigar that would be ideal for after a big meal or just for kicking back to relax with.
