Drew Estate Cigar Co. Undercrown Shade Corona Doble

Drew Estate Cigar Co. Undercrown Shade Corona Doble

This large cigar was covered with a light brown, silky smooth wrapper. The draw had just a slight resistance making this a very smooth smoking, effortless cigar to enjoy. The smoke was dense and creamy with a slight spiciness through the finish of each puff. The spice also carried over into the aroma of the smoke, along with a nuttiness and graham cracker notes. The aroma intensified in strength and richness as the cigar was smoked with a more earthy note that continued to develop. The construction was top notch with an even burn that hung on to a very long, light gray ash. Some honey-like characteristics developed in the mouth feel with a slightly sweet note in the taste. There was a consistent white-peppery spice throughout the duration of the cigar as well as a sweet note that continued to intensify. The cigar’s body was mild-medium overall, but it delivered full and robust flavors that were well-rounded on the palate, and left it feeling cleansed after each puff. This was a unique cigar that continued to develop as it was smoked and delivered outstanding flavors and aromas.
