El Titan de Bronze Redemption Toro
A pale brown wrapper covered this well packed cigar that was and firm to the touch and had no no soft spots. The draw was smooth with a slight resistance. There were tangy sweet notes on the pre-light nose reminiscent of vanilla and hay that were also noticed in the taste before lighting. Once lit, those same pre-light characteristics came through to the taste with added white pepper that lingered in the nose and taste. The aroma was full from the start with sweet and spicy earthy notes. The smoke had a medium-full body and strength. The strength did let up and balanced out to a solid medium for the remainder of the first half and slowly picked back up to full in the second half. The spice that was noticed in the initial impression did settle down becoming more of a subtle note in the flavor and taste. The spiciness did, however, eventually became more pronounced in the second half. The aroma really stood out with its sweet characteristic and well fermented tobacco notes. A very well constructed cigar that maintained its structural integrity throughout the entire experience. The burn was mostly even requiring only minor touch ups and produced a long light grey ash. It never became soft and had a smooth draw that provided generous amounts of smoke with little effort. The smoke was balanced on the palate yet it had complexity with numerous changes throughout. It finished full strength with the flavor and body to match.
