This cigar had a dark and rugged appearance with an oily wrapper that had a sandy feel to the touch. It had a bold pre-light nose with a lot of earthy characteristics. A smooth draw offered generous amounts of full flavored smoke. The flavor had more earthy tones and a slight espresso like bitterness with the addition of black pepper spices and cocoa notes in the aroma. Bold character with a medium-full body overall.
