This cigar had a dark and oily, smooth wrapper with a sweet and earthy pre-light nose The cold draw flavor had more sweeter tones with hay and cocoa. Once lit it had a full flavor profile with a lot of cocoa notes and red peppery spice that lingered in the taste.
‘When retro haling the smoke that peppery characteristic was more intense and had black pepper notes. Medium to full body and a medium strength profile that developed to full an inch or two in. It had great construction with a smooth, effortless draw that was like drinking from a straw.
A mostly even burn hung on to a long, nearly white ash. The aroma was full with earthy spice notes. A very well made cigar that offered a lot of spicy traits that lingered on the palate, full straight forward flavors with the body to match.
