Fermin Perez Classic Connecticut Toro

This golden brown wrapper had a slightly oily sheen and was silky to the touch. The pre-light nose had a classic Connecticut tone with a honey-like sweetness floral tones and the addition of mild cocoa. The cold-draw flavor had similar tones, with nut and hay profiles. Once lit, the cigar cigar provided creamy, smooth smoke on the palate with a lot of white pepper notes in the nose when retro haling.
It had a sweeter toned aroma with similar notes to the pre-light with honey, hay and nutty tones with a slight peppery bite. The strength was mild from beginning to end yet had bright, medium flavor with a medium body. The draw was effortless with just a slight bit of resistance. An even burn and great overall construction made this effortless to enjoy.
An excellent choice for anyone who enjoy a little bit of spice, classic Connecticut flavor profiles, milder strength, a pleasant aroma, or just something light to start the day. A unique cigar in that it provided flavors you’d expect from a Connecticut wrapped cigar, but offered more spice and personality than one would “traditionally” expect.
