The pre-light nose was subtle with some earthy-hay characteristics. Once lit a unique full aroma and flavor profile ensued with a lot of woods, nut tones and some black pepper spice that lingered on the palate. There was a consistent underlying sweet note on the finish of each puff and in the aroma. It had a great slow and even, effortless burn. The taste was clean and the smoke had a dense, creamy texture. It continued to gain strength finishing medium-full near the end with a long, full flavored lingering finish.
