A. Fuente & Co. Don Carlos Robusto

A milk chocolate colored wrapper on this cigar had an oily sheen and a slightly toothy texture. The pre-light nose was light and had a slightly sweet note. On the cold draw taste, there were light notes of sweet hay and cedar. Once lit, the smoke was bursting with flavor.
It had a balance of sweet and spicy traits with more sweetness in the aroma with a white peppery-like spice that lingered in the nose when retro haling the smoke. Full flavors, medium body with a lighter, medium strength.
Excellent construction with an effortless draw and an even burn that clung on to a dense, gray ash. A distinct character and profile. Just effortless to enjoy overall. A well rounded, flavorful smoking experience that is easy on the palate yet full of flavor.
