An extremely rugged-looking cigar with a nearly black and very dark brown color pattern. Once lit the cigar had a dense and creamy texture on the palate with noticeable spices in the back end of each puff. The spices were smooth through the nose.  The cigar was well-balanced and had outstanding construction. This was a hardy cigar yet easy to enjoy, not what one would assume from the appearance.
