General Cigars Macanudo Inspirado Black
A super dark and oily, toothy wrapper covered this sweet smelling cigar. The draw was incredibly smooth with just a slight resistance that aided in making this effortless to enjoy. The initial smoke was light on the palate with a big sweet tone in the flavor and aroma that also lingered though the finish of each puff. The smoke had a rich and creamy texture. Both black and white pepper notes developed through the back end of the taste and in the aroma. The spices were intense when retro-haling the smoke. The cigar was hardy overall but not overbearing on the palate. This is a great example of a super dark cigar that doesn’t have an overwhelming body or nicotine levels. The cover never tells the entire story as the strength and body comes from the blend, not the wrapper color. This was a very pleasant, full flavored cigar with a good amount of spice that had outstanding construction overall with a very clean finish and mouthwatering texture.
