General Cigars Toraño Virtuoso
This cigar was covered with a very dark brown, oily wrapper that had an incredibly potent pre-light smell with a sweet and tangy, earthy, oily tobacco note. It was solid to the touch yet had a smooth and effortless draw. The initial flavor was sweet once lit, with a nice peppery spice that didn’t overwhelm the senses. The texture of the smoke was creamy. Overall it had a mild body with a big aroma and medium to full flavor profile. The cigar had definitely tamed down over the years in body strength while still offering a lot of the same full robust aroma and flavor that it did when new. It had a great construction with a slow and even burn that clung on to a nearly white, dense ash. This cigar was pretty consistent from beginning to end. It had balance and was easy to enjoy. This is a cigar that can be put away for some time and maintain a nice flavor profile.
