Gran Habano Cigars (Tabacalera Unidos) Corojo #5

Gran Habano Cigars (Tabacalera Unidos) Corojo #5

This was an impressive lancero with a pigtail cap. There was a rich looking, oily, dark brown wrapper with a subtle but rich pre-light smell and a unique spicy taste up front. Throughout the entire cigar there was a very consistent and unique flavor profile with a lot of spices and a rich earthy backbone. Creamy texture with a smooth and unique spiciness through the nose. Full and well balanced flavors are present from the aroma, to the flavor and to the finish. Very luring, rich, and clean aroma with sweet cocoa notes. The draw produced thick clouds of smoke with barely any effort and the burn was extremely even. The ash was light gray and very solid. The cigar never had to be re-lit or touched up, outstanding overall construction. There was a dominating flavor profile but the body slowly built and never overwhelmed the flavor or palate. There was a lot of fineness to this cigar with some complexity. The flavor continued to develop and the aroma became full and robust as the cigar burned. Extremely well made. An outstanding unique and flavorful cigar that can easily be smoked beyond a nub and not kill your palate.
