This cigar had a classic appearance and shape and felt great in the hand. The wrapper was smooth and had a milk-chocolate color with a light yet rich pre-light smell and taste. There was just a slight resistance on the draw, which made this cigar extremely smooth and effortless to enjoy. The smoke had a refined quality with great balance and subtle spices that were noticed in the nose and also lingered on the palate through the back end of each puff. The aroma was filled with more subtle spices and graham cracker and cedar-like notes. More black pepper qualities developed in the taste. The cigar started off rather mild and continued to develop its body strength as it was smoked finishing off at a solid medium-full with a very long and flavorful finish. The spiciness of the cigar also developed and intensified for the duration of the smoke. This cigar offered a lot of spicy delicate flavors yet had complexity and finesse. A great smoke to look forward to each year.
