A medium brown colored wrapper covered this cigar and it had some noticeable tooth.  The pre-light nose had mild earthy tones with cocoa notes that were also noticeable on the cold draw flavor.  Once lit, there was an initial peppery spice in nose and a medium bodied, creamy texture.

It had a lot of wood notes in the aroma with more spices and a faint, tangy sweetness.  The spiciness of the cigar was a consistent trait and eventually came thorough in the flavor, lingering on the palate. The cigar had great construction with a slow and even burn that hung on to a long, lighter gray ash.

Mild strength in the beginning settling into medium for the duration of the experience.  Overall this was a well-rounded, balanced cigar that was easy to enjoy with a pleasant aroma, smooth-spicy characteristics and bold flavors without the full strength kick.  Highly recommended.
