Jameson Cigar Co. Jameson Black Label

Jameson Cigar Co. Jameson Black Label

The cigar had an attractive appearance with an evenly colored, slightly reddish-brown wrapper. It had an oily sheen and a silky texture with moderate veins. The pre-light nose was intense with a tangy sweet tone that had citrus and chocolate notes. The smoke had a dense and creamy texture with subtle spices in the taste. There were cinnamon, cedar and black pepper notes in the flavor. It had a sweet characteristic that lingered on the palate. More cocoa and graham cracker notes developed in the aroma as the cigar was smoked. The cigar had flawless construction with an outstanding even burn that clung on to a light gray ash. It was solid to the touch from beginning to end. The body was lighter than when new, mild to mild-medium, but it was full in aroma and flavor. It did develop slightly with different flavors and notes in the aroma, however it was not overly complex. It was a very smooth smoking cigar with a nice spicy tone and balanced flavor. It mellowed out after a few years of age, while leaving behind more pronounced flavors and nuances.
