Joya de Nicaragua Cabinetta Serie No. 13

A smooth and slightly oily wrapper has unmistakable appearance and a sweet hay-like pre-light aroma. A smooth draw provided big thick clouds of creamy smoke.  The aroma had rich, toasted tobacco mild earthy flavors and a honey-like sweetness.  There was a mild spice in the nose, which was very tolerable when retro haling the smoke. Mild-medium strength with a medium body overall.  A very pleasant, full flavored cigar that showcased great Connecticut shade characteristics.  Extremely well made with excellent construction, the cigar had an even, slow burn that held on to a long, light gray ash.  This cigar is approachable to any level of experience, delivering flavors and aroma that a seasoned cigar lover can appreciate while not being overwhelming to someone just getting into the hobby.

Loved touring the factory years ago when I was on the DE Safari … history of the revolution and the factory amazing.
