Joya de Nicaragua Introduces TAA Exclusive
As the fall season approaches, Joya de Nicaragua is proud to announce the launch of the Cinco de Cinco TAA Exclusive Edition, a limited cigar crafted specifically for the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) members. This exclusive cigar will make its debut during the 2024 TAA annual trade show, marking a significant milestone for Joya de Nicaragua and the TAA.
Founded in 1968, the same year as Joya de Nicaragua, the TAA has played an essential role in promoting the interests of retail tobacconists and advocating for the tobacco industry across the United States. For decades, the TAA has provided its members with exclusive cigars, educational resources, and industry networking opportunities, while Joya de Nicaragua has remained at the forefront of the Nicaraguan cigar industry, consistently delivering products of unparalleled quality. This year’s Cinco de Cinco TAA Exclusive Edition reflects the long-standing relationship between Joya de Nicaragua and the TAA. The limited-release cigar not only represents the craftsmanship and heritage that Joya de Nicaragua is renowned for but also celebrates over five decades of growth and innovation within the industry.
“Cinco de Cinco has been a phenomenal success, quickly becoming our most sought-after cigar worldwide. To celebrate this achievement with our dedicated TAA Partners and Amigos, we’ve crafted the exclusive Gordo 6×60 format. This cigar is a testament to our shared passion for excellence and the enduring legacy of TAA, an organization that has been a cornerstone of the industry for decades.” said Juan Martínez, Executive President of Joya de Nicaragua.
The Cinco de Cinco TAA Limited Release is crafted with vintage tobaccos, featuring a Mexican San Andrés wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers and binders in the TAA Exclusive format Gordo 6×60. This medium-to-full-bodied, complex cigar is rich in earthy flavors with hints of cocoa and dark chocolate, evolving throughout the smoke for a truly unique experience. This internationally acclaimed blend is the newest addition to Joya de Nicaragua’s Obras Maestras family.
Cinco de Cinco Gordo TAA Exclusive is further distinguished by the TAA Exclusive Series emblem, underscoring its rarity and prestige. This limited production run will be available to TAA members during the October TAA tradeshow. With only 600 boxes being produced, this edition is a rare opportunity for collectors and cigar aficionados alike.
