A big, attractive cigar with a slick oily dark wrapper. The pre-light aroma was powerful with a lot of black coffee and aged tobacco. The cigar lit without any issues and the flavors of the smoke blasted onto the palate. Like the pre-light nose, a robust unsweetened coffee taste took over the front of the profile while a mellow cocoa note dominated the finish. The combination of flavors worked nicely. The construction was excellent with a sharp burn that lasted well over two hours.
