Kristoff Cigars Pistoff Kristoff
There was a noticeable fat pigtail cap and uncut wrapper tobacco at the foot. The wrapper was a beautiful dark brown with barely any visible seams and a lot of tooth. It had a faint yet sweet and rich pre-light smell and taste. Once lit the cigar had a mouthwatering texture with a lot more, deep, sweet notes in the taste as well as in the aroma. The cigar was solid to the touch and heavy in the hand with a very smooth and effortless draw. The burn was slow, even and produced a nearly white, very long ash. As the cigar was smoked, a spiciness developed and lingered on the palate, especially through the finish of each puff. This was a hardy cigar with a nicely balanced, full flavor profile that had a nice amount of spice that rounded out the taste. The flavor became more dense and rich as the cigar was smoked. It had a medium bodied start, which eventually built to full, with a long and full flavored finish. This cigar wasn’t overly complex, but it did develop its intensity as it was smoked. A very well made, full flavored, full bodied cigar that won’t kill the palate.
