La Aurora Family Creed Robusto

A darker pale brown wrapper covered this box pressed cigar. The pre-light nose at the foot was sweet with cocoa and graham cracker like notes. The dry draw flavor had more sweet notes of cedar and floral tones. Once lit there were cocoa, wood and spices in the aroma. Right off the bat it had a full body with dense textured smoke and medium strength.
There were peppery spices in the nose when retro-haling the smoke but it wasn’t overwhelming; it balanced well with the flavor adding another layer to the profile of the cigar. The aroma developed more sweet traits of cocoa, cedar and a citrus tanginess. There was just a slight bit of resistance to the smooth and effortless draw. Phenomenal construction overall with an impeccable, slow and even burn that produced a long light grey colored ash.
The strength slowly picked up from medium to full. While the strength was present it won’t knock you down. The flavor intensified as the cigar was enjoyed with more spicy characteristics coming through and playing off of the other flavors. A very well balanced cigar on the palate engaging all of the senses. Well-rounded from the flavor, aroma, body/texture and strength. it had a long and flavorful finish after each puff. A very new and unique offering from La Aurora cigars that will take you by surprise. Just a great cigar through and through
