L’Atelier Imports Surrogates Skull Breaker

L’Atelier Imports Surrogates Skull Breaker

This was an attractive cigar with a sharp and stubby head. It had a pungent hay-like aroma on the pre-light with a slight tangy sweetness that carried over to the pre-light taste. The wrapper was dark and oily with a leathery texture between the fingers and the cigar was solid to the touch.  Once lit a smooth and steady draw provided a full and rich aroma with a hearty, mouthwatering texture.  The aroma became richer and more luring as the cigar was smoked.  A lingering white peppery spice developed in the taste and was also present in the aroma.  The smoke was smooth through the nose and revealed dark, dried fruit tones with a smoky characteristic.  It had a great slow burn that clung on to a long white ash.  This was a hearty full bodied full flavored cigar overall that will leave a lasting impression.  A great choice for an after meal smoke.
