Some limited editions, even though pretty cool,  are little more than a new color and a different box…This isn’t one of those.

To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, LES FINES LAMES looked back at one of the most remarkable stories in American military history, the Flying Tigers. Long before Pearl Harbor, a group of volunteer American pilots quietly entered the fight in China against overwhelming Japanese forces. Flying their famous P-40 Warhawks with shark mouths painted across the nose, they became one of the most recognizable fighter squadrons of World War II.

Now that iconic artwork has found its way onto one of the cigar world’s most recognizable accessories.

LES FINES LAMES has unveiled the Flying Tigers Limited Edition of its Le PETIT cigar knife and matching DUO leather cigar case. The knife marks another first for the French company, featuring an Armor Black Cerakote blade paired with a black anodized handle for an understated tactical look. Both accessories feature the famous Flying Tigers shark-mouth artwork that helped make the squadron legendary.

Only 250 Le PETIT knives and 250 DUO cigar cases will be produced worldwide, with no plans for additional production once they’re gone.

Le PETIT Flying Tigers Limited Edition retails for $199, while the matching DUO cigar case retails for $125.

We see plenty of limited editions in the cigar world. Some are memorable because they’re difficult to find. Others stand out because they tell a story worth remembering. This collection manages to do both.
