La Flor Dominicana Suave Grand Maduro No. 5

This toro cigar was comfortable in the hand with a box-pressed shape. The dark, pale brown wrapper was smooth to the touch. The pre-light nose light, yet had a mild sweet tone. There was a slight note of dried fruit on the cold draw flavor.
The smoke was dense and creamy form the first puff to the last with an intense peppery bite in the nose when retro haling the smoke through the nose. The spices did smooth out as the cigar was enjoy. Full bodied with medium strength, it had a mild sweetness in the aroma with more spice, cedar and hints of coffee and cocoa notes.
Nice construction with an effortless draw and mostly even burn. Overall a creamy cigar with a good amount of spice and a pleasant aroma. Fairly easygoing on the palate with a straightforward character.
