La Flor Dominicana Suave Natural Maceo

The pale brown wrapper on this cigar was smooth to the touch. There was a distinct pre-light nose with big raisin-like tone and earthy hay notes, all of which carried over to the cold draw flavor. One lit there was initial red and white peppery spice in the taste, which was more pronounced in the nose when retro haling.
Wood tones developed while maintaining a full spicy characteristic throughout. The cigar had full flavors with a full, intriguing that continued to develop as the cigar was enjoyed. Well fermented tobacco with an underlying rich sweetness played well with the spicy profile.
Outstanding construction. A very well-made cigar that was unique with a full aroma, flavors, full body and medium overall strength.
