LUJ Serengeti

LUJ Serengeti

The cigar had a deep reddish brown wrapper with a rugged appearance with a lot of noticeable tooth and a fancy pigtail cap. The pre-light nose was rich with a sweet earthy smell that had a lot of cedar and wood notes. The cigar was solid to the touch and had a very smooth and easy draw. Once lit the smoke proved to have a mouthwatering quality with a sweet note that was more noticeable through the finish of each puff. It had a creamy texture with a dense mouth-feel. The body built as the cigar was smoked, as did black peppery spices when retro-haled. As the cigar burned down the aroma became more full and intense with intriguing spices and a deep flavor profile. A nuttiness developed in the aroma that was very similar to hazelnuts, which would come and go as it burned down. Hearty is a great word for this cigar. As it burned it gained both body strength and a deeper flavor profile, finishing off full to very full. The cigar burned without a hitch and had great overall construction.
