Covered with a dark and oily, toothy wrapper, this cigar had a sweeter pre-light nose with rich tones of earthy cocoa and wood.  Once lit, the cigar immediately provided a full flavor profile and aroma.  The aroma had a luring quality with sweet and spicy notes of cocoa, wood and white pepper.

A smooth draw effortlessly allowed large volumes of dense, full bodied smoke to the palate.  The smoke was clean and light on the palate – yet loaded with flavor.  The aroma really stood out on this blend and maintained it’s rich, luring profile from beginning to end.

There was a lot of consistent cocoa and wood tones throughout, with nicely balanced spices in the taste.  The white pepper trait was mostly noticed in the nose on the retro hale and wasn’t overwhelming.

The medium strength of the cigar accentuated the full flavors and aroma of this cigar allowing them to take center stage.  Medium, medium-full strength depending on experience level.  Outstanding construction and burn.  A well rounded, satisfying, balanced cigar that delivered a lot of flavor and a great aroma.
