This short robusto, box-pressed cigar had a pale brown wrapper with a rustic look.  The pre-light nose was mild with earthy cedar notes.  The cold draw flavor was similar to the nose, only fuller with graham cracker, cocoa, fermented tobacco and some more hay-like tones.  Once lit the cigar offered full bodied, dense smoke with intense peppery spices in the nose.

It didn’t take long for a fuller strength to kick in but was well balanced with the full flavor profile and aroma.  The spices did mellow out yet remained present, allowing more of the rich flavor profile to shine though.  Cocoa, wood and deep hay-like notes were persistent.

Outstanding burn and construction – this was a full flavored, full bodied, full strength, complex cigar with numerous changes throughout despite its shorter size.  An excellent choice for those who enjoy bold, intense cigar that is full across the board, yet won’t knock you back in your seat.
