My Father Cigars Don Pepin Garcia Original
This cigar had a great shape and feel in the hand. The wrapper was oily, dark and had a light, yet rich pre-light aroma. Once lit, the first few puffs were dense and creamy, with a good amount of spice, which developed fairly early on and was more noticeable in the aroma of the smoke. The draw was incredibly smooth and produced large volumes of smoke with ease. It only produced smoke at the foot while smoked and would stay lit for long periods of time if sat aside in the ashtray. The ash was dense, light gray and wouldn’t fall off. Black pepper spices developed on the taste and the spicy character that was noticed at the beginning of the cigar only intensified the more the cigar burned down. It had a sharp white pepper bite through the nose with hearty, black pepper and earth notes in the taste. It was a full flavored cigar from the first puff to the last. There was a full body that settled in early on in the cigar, which built slightly in strength, balancing out with the full and overall rich character of this cigar. Outstanding construction and a great choice for anyone who enjoys full spicy, complex cigars.
