A hardy looking cigar with its dark and oily wrapper.  It had a sweeter pre-light nose with well fermented tobacco traits.  Solid to the touch with a very smooth and effortless draw that had the slightest resistance.  Nuts and mild cocoa characteristics with peppery spices lingered on the palate and through the nose.  A smooth smoking cigar with full flavors and rich characteristics throughout.   It had full bodied smoke with a dense texture.  There was a balanced sensation on the tongue and palate.  Full and rich flavors with a big aroma..  Mild traits of cocoa developed early on and intensified as the cigar was enjoyed.  An overall rich and full flavored cigar that had a lot of character.  Excellent construction with a mostly even, slow burn that hung on to a long light-colored ash.  The spices were present throughout the cigar experience and were incredibly smooth, even when retro haling the smoke through the nose. The cigar had complexity with numerous changes and developments in flavor yet it maintained a balanced profile. Sophisticated and a great choice to pair with a drink or after meal to relax.
