My Father Cigars’ New Honduran Made Cigar – La Lealtad, PCA26
My Father La Lealtad “The Loyalty”

After seeing a post on My Father Cigar’s social media regarding a new Honduran made cigar the hairs on my neck began to rise.
There are A LOT of cigars released at PCA every year and while we try to get our hands on as much as we can – some cigars may capture a little more of our attention.
The Honduran made My Father Blue line was one of our top cigars of 2025 and the first cigar My Father released from their Honduran factory. The more I smoke that cigar, the more I enjoy it. Needless to say, once I learned that they were releasing another Honduran made My Father cigar, La Lealtad, I had to get it.
It instantly sparked my interest.
It’s been a few years at the PCA tradeshow where there is a cigar that everyone talks up and can’t wait to get their hands on. Something so hyped that the anticipation drives people into a frenzy in order to get one. For me, La Lealtad was one of those cigars. While there wasn’t a lot of talk on the show floor about any one specific cigar people had to get, I apparently wasn’t the only one who wanted La Lealtad.
Nowadays, it’s almost as if people keep to themselves in order to keep the hype low on any specific cigar – just to ensure one of those cigars can go home with them. La Lealtad must have been on the mind of a lot more people than anticipated, but it’s not surprising and I walked away empty handed.
My Father Cigars is a company that continuously produces impressive cigars no matter if it’s made in Miami or Nicaragua and so far, their Honduran factory after enjoying their My Father Blue time and time again. I expect nothing less from La Lealtad and am just as anxious to try one as I was when I got onto the PCA show floor. Not to be cliché but all good things come to those who wait – besides, I don’t have a choice. This is one cigar, though, that I will be sure to get my hands on.
“Where legacy starts with loyalty and tradition.”
Here is some information I did walk away from the show with: It has an Ecuadoran wrapper and was told it is a medium-full strength cigar. It is available in three sizes: Robusto, 5 x 54 – Toro, 6 x 52 and a Torpedo 6.25 x 54. The cigars come dressed in classic My Father packaging with a maroon color scheme.
One thing we can count on from My Father Cigars is that they do not disappoint. Time and time again they release cigars that are bold in rich flavors and have a character all their own. La Lealtad is sure to be another great addition to an already amazing portfolio.
