This was an attractive looking perfecto shaped cigar that had a nice oily sheen and a chocolaty-brown sweet smelling wrapper with tight seams. It had a clean pre-light taste with some cedar and sweet hay-like notes. The draw was smooth and effortless which paved the way for an enjoyable smoking experience. There were intriguing spices in the flavor and aroma as soon as the cigar was lit. It had a nice amount of black pepper spice in the nose and in the taste, but balanced well with the other flavors and nuances of the smoke. The burn was slow and extremely even. It produced a long dark ash that had to be pulled from the cigar. This cigar was full in flavor with a medium body. Everything seemed to work in harmony as the cigar burned down; it had a nice balance between flavor and body strengths, never overwhelming the palate one way or the other. It had a very pleasant aroma and an overall unique character. A great cigar any time of the day.
