This thicker robusto shaped cigar had a dark and oily, toothy wrapper.  The pre-light nose was mild with a slightly sweet tone that was much more noticeable on the dry draw, with more sweet notes of fermented tobacco and earth straw-like characteristics.  The initial smoke when lit had a lot of red and white pepper spice in the taste and in the nose with cocoa and wood tones.

As the cigar progressed the intense spicy trait in the beginning tamed down a bit, but remained present throughout the duration of the experience.  The smoke was full bodied with a dense and creamy texture.  It had medium strength through the first half and leaned more toward full in the second.  The flavor was full, hardy, had deep earthy notes, cocoa, spices and a touch of sweetness that lingered in the taste.

A fairly complex cigar with changes in character throughout.  The cigar had a very smooth draw and excellent overall construction.  A great choice for anyone looking for a bold experience with balanced flavor/body and a full aroma.  Definitely something you can sit back with and relax with, especially after a large meal.
