Padrón Cigars 1964 Anniversary Series

Padrón Cigars 1964 Anniversary Series

This box-pressed torpedo shaped cigar had a very smooth wrapper with hardly any visible seams. The pre-light nose and taste was clean with a slight earthy cocoa trait. From the first puff to the last this cigar had a big creamy mouth-feel and texture with a slight amount of peppery spices that were more noticeable in the nose. There was a lot of cocoa in the flavor with more spice that continued to develop as the cigar was smoked. It had a flawless slow and even burn that clung to a dense, nearly white ash. A peppery, anise, nutty characteristic kicked in and was noticeable on the back end of each puff. Big dark chocolate flavors. Spices lingered on the tongue while that ever present creamy texture coated the palate. This cigar was well rounded and balanced. It was very smooth yet offered full flavors and a medium-full body.
