Pariah Cigars No.39 Red Super Toro

An impressive looking, large format box pressed cigar covered in a milk-chocolate colored wrapper that was silky to the touch.  The pre-light nose had a tangy sweet, earthy tone with hay and cocoa-like notes, all of which were more robust on the cold-draw flavor.

It had full bodied, creamy textured smoke from beginning to end with mild spice in the taste that lingered through the finish of each puff.  Red and white spices were intense when retro haling the smoke through the nose.

The flavors were similar to the pre-light notes, only more subtle – yet rich in quality.  Wood and nuts developed in the aroma, along side consistent spices and cocoa tones.

A smooth smoking cigar with a draw that had a touch of resistance, a decent burn hung on to a tight, nearly white ash and great overall construction.  Medium strength for the first half, slowly developing to full.  Well balanced and easy to enjoy from beginning to end.

A great choice for fans of large cigars that have a lot of character, full in flavor yet won’t knock you down.
