This cigar had a big bouquet on the pre-light smell filled with flowers and mild cedar flavors. Once lit there was a mild spicy trait in the taste and aroma of the smoke. The aroma was full with similar traits as the pre-light. Outstanding burn and a tight, evenly colored ash that didn’t want to fall off of the cigar. A rich character developed an inch or two in, and remained constant throughout. Black pepper developed in the taste while the aroma remained full with aromatic traits. The smoke had a chewy texture and full flavors with balanced spices. Overall this was a mild-medium bodied cigar with a bold flavor profile. This was a unique, bright flavored, sweet cigar when it was new, and has maintained a lot of those traits through the years with a more creamy texture. The cigar continued to gain strength as it was smoked but never overwhelmed the palate. It delivered a satisfying overall experience.
